Company Overview
GMF Limited was founded in 2006 to provide mezzanine capital to middle-market operating businesses and real estate companies. Mezzanine capital is used to supplement a company's debt capacity beyond banks' credit limitations and is a substantially cheaper and less dilutive alternative to equity financing.
Many middle market companies require debt capital outside the typical parameters of commercial banks. GMF is designed to satisfy this capital shortfall and to help middle market companies achieve their goals. Typical uses of capital include acquisitions, management buyouts, recapitalizations, and financing rapid growth.
GMF will provide financing to companies around the globe, which meet our investment criteria, generally structured in the form of subordinated debt with attached warrants (for the future purchase of common equity). GMF is focused on funding transactions primarily in Western, Central and Eastern Europe and the US and to a lesser extent in Africa and Asia. GMF can also arrange larger financings through its affiliations with its shareholders and other firms.
